Clark Machine was contacted to fabricate the localizer antenna platform highlighted here. This project was for a Baltimore, Maryland customer who designed it for an airport application. Completing this project required us to adhere to a customer-led production schedule and the ability to work within the unique constraints of government regulations.

The customer-provided CAD drawings and design specs allowed us to focus entirely on fabrication in this project. Primary construction of the platform was conducted through CNC plasma cutting, brake press sheet forming, fit-up assembly, and final welding by MIG, FCAW, and SMAW techniques. Hot-dip galvanizing, dimensional validation and functionality testing followed.

Our varied arsenal of advanced fabrication strategies provides strongly integrated production, making a durable and reliable product possible. A comprehensive setup allowed for continuous communication with the customer without any sacrifice to product turnaround.
