The Fabrication division has a wide range of semi-automatic welding equipment and heavy forming and shaping equipment with which it fabricates, welds or machines to customer specifications such products as material handling equipment, earth moving buckets, sand and gravel handling equipment, atomic waste containers and heavy duct work. The automatic burning equipment can handle plates up to a dimension of 10 feet by 30 feet and six inches thick. The division’s metal brakes have a capacity of 1000 tons of pressure. A 35 ton yard crane and two-10 tons over head cranes facilitate the handling of heavy equipment. The division either uses customer drawings or does the original design work itself. Where modifications in design will improve the equipment being fabricated, the division will submit recommendations to the customer for approval. The fabrication division works with both special steels and alloys. Large and difficult jobs are welcomed.
The precision Fabricating Division of Clark Machine offers a full range of welding certifications from MIL-SPEC to AWS D1.5 Standards, in addition to hard-surfacing, forming, cutting, burning, rolling and stress relieving. No job is to big for our 60,000 square foot fabrication facility or to difficult for our welding specialists, whose reputation for outstanding work with automatic, semi-automatics and hand held welding equipment is known throughout the industry.

Before your work leaves our shop, Clarks’ experienced staff of Quality Assurance inspectors uses a variety of advanced, non-destructive test procedures to ensure that our workmanship and materials meet the highest standards possible. Equipped with procedures that include hardness, magnetic particle, die penetrates and on-site ultrasonic testing. Our QA inspectors test, measure and examine everything we produce, replace or repair. We can handle all your fabricating needs.
